Ben- Child Ghost Interactions Savannah Theatre

Allow me to introduce you to Ben, my personal favorite Ghost so far !!! I met him during the Straight Ghosting Entertainment event: The Ghost Brothers Take over Savannah.

Ben is one of the most famous spirits at the Savannah Theatre. In life, Ben was the son of a worker at the theatre, but he met a tragic end one day when going to work with his dad. A fire broke out in the theatre and everyone ran down the stairway to get out, only to find the door locked. Most people made it back up the stairs and out of the fire alive, but Ben was found dead at the bottom of the staircase. In the panic of the situation, he had sadly been trampled.

Although we got interaction with multiple ghosts in the stairway, Ben was by far the most engaging. We knew he was with us both by the child like playful energy and the sounds of a child’s voice frequently coming through the spirit box. Multiple other investigation groups have caught evidence of him as well- from his obvious child like voice echoing through the stairway to even a full body apparition that is believed to be Ben (check out the instagram site Truth in Evidence Haunted tours for that amazing video).

Below is a video of us first entering the stairway: (I only had my full spectrum camera to look through and did not have a flash light on at the time so it’s a little discombobulated but gives an idea of what the stairway was like)

They keep an offering of toys at the top of the stairs for Ben- including a blue ball, a teddy bear, and a toy car. During our investigation, a spirit box was placed at the top of the stairs and a REM pod closer to the bottom of the stairs.

The video of the audio file below is spliced together audio of what I got in the stairway. I spent a total of about 20 minutes in the stairway but compounded this clip into audio interactions that I feel were direct intelligent responses from Ben himself. I do plan to post the full audio in the future because it is packed full of spirit box interactions.
