Warned by a Ghost- So we Left!! Haunted Savannah Theatre Mirror Room

This video comes at you from the Savannah Theatre during the Ghost Brothers Take Over Savannah event Halloween weekend. All 3 of the Ghost Brothers are photographed with our group in the picture below!!! Marcus Harvey from the Ghost Brothers manned the Green Room, which a lot of people refer to as the “mirror room”. While the Savannah Theatre in general has been theorized to have or be a portal, the mirror room in particular has been sited as the location of a potential portal. The room is lined on both walls with long mirrors. Part of the theory is that the mirrors reflecting one another, in conjunction with the already paranormally active environment, amplify the energy and can serve as an opening or gateway (i.e. portal) for spirits to come in and out of.

Although there is a plethora of history surrounding the theatre and the mirror room, I’m going to limit history here to what is most pertinent to the video I captured during our spirit box session with Marcus.

In addition to being the site of a potential portal, there are some spirits that consistently seem to make contact in the theatre. Elizabeth or “Lizzy” is one of the well known ghosts. There are accounts of her being called Betty initially, however over time, she has made it known that she is or wants to be known as Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a theatre starlet and loved performing and being on stage. In her day there was no electricity in the building, so the stage was lit with the use of candles. Tragically, one evening, the theatre curtain caught fire and Elizabeth, who was in a room beneath the stage, was trapped and burned to death in that fire.

A second spirit that is well known within the theatre was named Bill in life. Bill was once the theatre director but was said to be an unsavory character to say the least. He has been referred to as the Harvey Weinstein of their time. In death, he can be heard cursing through spirit boxes, particularly at women. At least one psychic who visited the mirror room revealed that she sensed that there had been an assault on a woman in that room that had culminated in rape.

In the posted video I actually had an equipment malfunction, so I apologize that the video and audio do not exactly match up. Whether the equipment malfunction was paranormal or not, I can not say for certain, but I am highly suspicious that it could have been. Reason being, I was using my Phasm camera which is only about a month old, but I have used on several other occasions without this particular problem. My audio on the camera had been working up until the point I entered this room, and we started the spirit box session. While in the room, the audio got more muffled and then all of a sudden it sort of crackles and pops and then goes COMPLETELY SILENT. No audio at all for mostly the remainder of the video. UNTIL we are preparing to leave the room and then the audio comes back on again!!! I will make a second post that shows the audio malfunction and have noted in this video where they occur. Obviously, I was not aware of this at the time and only discovered it when watching it back. Fortunately, I also had my electronic voice recorder rolling the entire time (which did not suffer any interference), so this video audio is attached from my recorder and not from the camera.

!!!!!!! This session is pretty incredible to me. I didn’t realize just how incredible it was until I was able to listen back to the audio later. We were all hearing bits and pieces of what was coming through the spirit box, but being able to put it all together was pretty crazy. What do you think? I feel like Lizzie is coming through strong, but she is being oppressed by a darker spirit there- one she’s afraid of. And was trying to warn us against him.
